The library's budget for FY2021 is $1,377,661. The budgets and the monies used to operate the library are received from the General Corporate Fund of the Village of Evergreen Park. The Library does not file a separate tax levy nor collect a separate share of real estate taxes. The Library Board of Trustees generally adopts the library levy and submits its levy request to the Village of Evergreen Park in October. Employee Compensation Package

Pursuant to Illinois law 5ILCS 120/7.3, a list of employees whose salary and benefit packages exceed $75,000 or greater is available for inspection at Evergreen Park Public Library's administrative offices, 9400 S Troy Avenue, Evergreen Park, IL. The Evergreen Park Public Library Board of Trustees recognizes the right of members of the public to have access to public records in accordance with the provisions of the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), and affirms that it is the policy of the Library to comply with the Act. The Library has designated staff to handle FOIA requests.
